An EICR (Electrical Installation Condition Report) is a detailed inspection and test of your property's electrical installation. Since April 2021, landlords in England are legally required to have a valid EICR for all rental properties every 5 years. Homeowners are recommended to have one every 10 years. Insurance companies and mortgage lenders may also require one.
