Expert Electrical Fault Diagnosis & Repair

Electrical faults can be frustrating, inconvenient, and potentially dangerous. If your circuit breaker keeps tripping, lights are flickering, you've got a partial power outage, or there's a burning smell, our electricians have the diagnostic equipment to find the fault and fix it.

We use professional testing equipment including insulation resistance testers, loop impedance testers, and thermal imaging to accurately pinpoint faults. This systematic approach means we fix the actual problem, not just the symptoms, saving you money on repeat callouts.

All repairs are carried out to BS 7671:2018 standards by NAPIT registered electricians, with appropriate certification provided. We carry a full range of parts and can resolve most common faults on the first visit.

Common Questions

If a circuit breaker trips repeatedly, it's detecting a fault on that circuit. Try unplugging all devices on the affected circuit and resetting. If it trips again with nothing plugged in, there's likely a wiring fault that needs professional attention. Don't keep resetting it - contact us for a diagnostic visit.
Yes. A burning smell, scorch marks, or warm sockets/switches indicate a serious fault that could cause a fire. Switch off the affected circuit at the consumer unit immediately and do not use the socket. Contact us urgently for a same-day visit.
Flickering lights can be caused by loose connections, faulty switches, overloaded circuits, or issues with the neutral conductor. While sometimes harmless, persistent flickering should be investigated as it could indicate a fault that worsens over time.
For urgent faults (burning smells, sparking, complete power loss), we aim to attend the same day. For non-urgent faults, we can usually book within 1-3 working days. Contact us and we'll advise on priority based on the fault description.
We provide clear pricing upfront. The diagnostic visit includes the first 30 minutes of fault finding. If additional time or parts are needed, we'll confirm the cost before proceeding. No hidden fees or surprise charges.
First, check your consumer unit for any tripped MCBs or RCDs and try resetting them. If the power doesn't return, check if your neighbours have power too (it could be a supply issue). If the issue is within your property, contact us and we'll diagnose the fault.
